Top Five tips to boost immunity from the Highlanders and Blis Technologies during COVID-19 lockdown
We are in unprecedented times with the nationwide lockdown for COVID-19. Together we have been fighting coronavirus by maintaining our bubbles and staying at home. Rebecca chats about nutrition. Some of the key aspects discussed are eating enough to fuel our bodies. “Eat the rainbow”, a wide selection of immune supporting foods, as well as looking after your gut with food types that support a healthy gut. On top of this stay well hydrated.

Sonya talks about the effects that stress has on our immunity. Too much stress is not good for our immunity, with this in mind try and think about the 3 R’s – Refuel, Resolve and Relax.
Tip FOUR comes from Head Strength and Conditioning Coach – Simon Jones
Simon discusses the key role exercise plays in keeping immunity healthy. Ideally you should be aiming for at least 30 minutes per day. This can be accumulated throughout the day with activities such as walking, mowing the lawns, gardening, playing golf, biking and home workouts.
Exercise is a really good habit that helps with our mood and overall wellbeing.
